As we stated here on Friday, golf was at its all-time high last week at the 2012 Ryder Cup. While we noted that many a player on Team Europe – which defeated Team America — were Audemars Piguet ambassadors, we don’t want to be remiss. Another huge player in the world of golf during this tournament was Omega. In fact, Omega was the Official Timekeeper of the 39th Ryder Cup for the first time. Additionally, one of Team Europe’s players – Sergio Garcia is an Omega ambassador and helped bring the win home to his team. Interestingly enough, Omega is also proud to have Davis Love III on board as its ambassador (read about that here). Love III was he Team USA Ryder Cup captain. As Official Timekeeper and Patron partner of The PGA of America, OMEGA now looks ahead to the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, which will be held October 22-24 at the Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda, on a stunning course overlooking the turquoise waters.
