In addition to the 20-plus brands exhibiting their exquisite watches, there are a host of special events and demonstrations taking place– including these top watchmakers flying in from Switzerland. Zenith brings in Sébastien Buliard, from the brand’s Movement Development department. Buliard plays a crucial role in the movement
Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridgesdevelopment department, where more than 600 movement’ variations have been created and where more than 300 patents have been earned. Buliard is responsible for the creation of the newest Christophe Columb Equation of Time—a complex and alluring special timepiece.
World-famous watchmaker, Dominique Loiseau with Girard-Perregaux will be present to talk with consumers about his work and to demonstrate the fine art of haute horology. Dominique Loiseau has worked at the summit of complex horology for more than 30 years and is the creator of a host of remarkable timepieces, including the Loiseau 1f4, with eight patents on its movement.
Harry Winston brings master watchmaker Emmanuel Bouchet, who partnered with Harry Winston to create the newest Harry Winston Opus 12 – a watch that defies all conventional rules of watchmaking. We covered this watch here.
Audemars Piguet is also bringing a top watchmakers to demonstrate the Equation of Time andwork on an AP escapement. And the TimeCrafters exhibit will feature three stations with master artisans continually demonstrating the arts of enameling, engraving and gem setting.
