Ever since Harry Winston explored new territory with its Opus series, the brand launched into new realms of watchmaking investigation – offering new alloys and creative new movements. Now, Harry Winston unveils its Histoire de Tourbillon 2, meant to embrace the visionary spirit of the brand in a daring and distinctive manner. The watch features a bi-axial flying tourbillon with two concentric carriages to create a striking visual effect. Housed within an outer carriage completing one full turn in 120 seconds, the internal carriage containing the balance, balance-spring and escapement that revolves in just 40 seconds. The watch consists of eight sapphire crystals, revealing the tourbillon coupled with running seconds at 9:00, the hours with day/night indication at 2:00, and the minutes at 6:00. It is crafted in 18-karat white gold in a 48.5mm case. Only 20 pieces will ever be made.
