Video: Audemars Piguet’s Brand Ambassador, Novak Djokovic Breaks the Rules

In a few short days, a full video of the one below will be released. But here we introduce a sneak peek of Audemars Piguet’s brand ambassador, Novak Djokovic in a special moment on video.

Recently Audemars Piguet unveiled one of the most creative ad campaigns in haute horlogerie – “To break the rules, you must first master them.”

 Coming from a brand with such a long and rich watchmaking tradition and history, the campaign truly strikes a chord about the ability of Audemars Piguet to boldly blend excellence, perfection and innovation. Because of its past, the brand can break boundaries year after year – offering standards of excellence and invention.

The concept translates beautifully, as well, in to the fields of sports and action that its ambassadors occupy. They are all masters in their arts and achieve their own breakthrough results time and again. The video from  pro Serbian tennis champion  Djokovic, “Nole,”  (with three Grand Slam titles in 2011, and a  bronze medal in the Beijing Olympic Games) highlights some of his unique moments, and is the first in a series that will profile each of Audemars Piguet’s ambassadors and their impossible but accomplished moments.  

The sportsmen who have truly captured the imagination of the world are those who defied convention – who broke the norm and pushed their sport into new frontiers, daring to what was never thought, was possible. This should be an interesting series.
