Video: Rado Watch Goes High Fashion, Brings Ceramic Ultra Thin

Rado is the brand credited with being first in the world of high-tech ceramics, bringing its line of ceramic watches onto the playing field decades ago. Today, however the brand has mastered the most incredible feat: the world’s thinnest high-tech ceramic watch. The True Thinline was almost three years in the development stages, as the technology behind the quartz watch took some doing. The movement is no thicker than a credit card.It comes in white or black, large and small, both with diamonds (the Jubilé version) and without. It ranges in price from $1,600 to $2,600.
This watch, along with a host of other Rado timepieces, even walked the runway during New York’s prestigious fashion week recently, in a Rado collaboration with Malan Breton. Watch this video for great runway footage.
