Time Capsules: Product – Concord’s On the Radar

The new Concord C1 Big Date Radar watch is a big deal. Retaining the distinctive personality of the Concord C1 watches, this timepiece is bold and identifiable but offers more personality than ever thanks to its assertive design. The black PVD treated steel cased watch features a calibrated display of time with raised hour markers for a three-D effect and easy readability. The watch sports a bezel interspersed with black rubber-clad protective tabs, and a 3.3mm thick sapphire crystal. Luminescent elements include the hands, the date and the small seconds’ disk.
The runway-inspired pilot-style watch houses a COSC-certified self-winding chronometer movement (caliber 3532 La Joux-Perret) with 44 hours of power reserve. The rotor of the 26-jewel movement is designed with a vertical ribbed Cotes de Genève motif that is visible through the transparent caseback. The khaki-colored strap is technofiber. It is water resistant to 200 meters — though you’d probably rather take to the skies with it than the water.
